About
Gardens that feel alive
A Garden
A place to breathe.
To connect.
To feel.
My Approach
I create gardens that feel refined, cohesive, and beautifully connected to their surroundings. Clients often come to me wanting a space that’s both atmospheric and functional, but feel unsure where to start.
I guide you through a clear, collaborative process that brings structure, planting, and materials together in a way that feels balanced, timeless, and considered.
About Angélique
My background blends horticultural and garden design training with a previous career in corporate law, giving me a unique combination of creativity, precision and careful project management. I studied at the Inchbald School of Design in London, graduating with distinction, and hold an RHS Level 2 diploma in Horticulture. As a French-British designer, my work is influenced by both European and English landscapes.
-
I’ve always been drawn to landscapes and the quiet artistry of nature. Before becoming a garden designer, I worked as a corporate lawyer — a career that taught me discipline, clarity and an appreciation for detail, but left me feeling disconnected.
Being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer became a turning point, showing me how much gardens — plants, seasons, and the life living in them — can heal, restore, and lift us. It gave me the courage to follow my dream and create gardens for others.
Now, I aim to design spaces that reconnect people with life. Gardens that invite you outside, slow you down, and help you feel more present.
Today, my work is influenced by the places I’ve lived in, the gardens I explore and the simple joy of creating elegant gardens with a soul.
When I’m not designing, you’ll often find me experimenting with planting in my own Surrey garden or walking through landscapes that continue to inspire my work.
Working Together
Your project is a collaborative journey. I listen closely to your needs, provide clear guidance at every stage, and ensure the process feels smooth and well supported from initial consultation to final planting. My goal is simple: to deliver a garden that looks beautiful, feels alive and where you want to spend time in.
